The Access to this gold prospecting claim is fairly easy, we would suggest a 4×4 for a small section of the road that drops down into Chaparral Gulch. Attached is a picture showing the outline of the claim on Chaparral Gulch and it also depicts the walking path and the road to access the claim. . There are several close amenities such as gas stations and shopping centers within just 6-7 miles of the claim.
the Union Mine in the upper part of Chaparral Gulch was established in 1897 and is one of the several mines in the area that feed Chaparral Gulch.
The placers are also found in the tributaries to Chaparral Gulch, several gram nuggets have been found coming in from the patented land that was worked by Teddy Roosevelt in the early 1900’s.
Water is a commodity in Chaparral Gulch since it only flows about 4-5 months out of the year. Some nice gram sized pieces have been found along with flake and flour gold.

This mining claim gives the owner full control of the minerals and ownership of all minerals and gems on the claim for as long as the purchaser maintains ownership. Ownership is retained by annual maintenance assessments of $165 per claim or by the Small miner paperwork when you have 10 or fewer claims in a year, plus a small recording fee to the BLM and the County Recorders office. These fees are per claim, per year. This claim has been paid in full until September 1st of 2022.
