20 acre placer claim – BLM unpatented

Priced at $12,000

A rare chance to own a claim on Prescott’s famed Groom Creek, one of the richest placer mining districts in the state of Arizona. This claim features opportunity for dredging, sluicing, panning and metal detecting. Numerous deep holes and massive bedrock outcroppings compliment ancient high benches, some of which have never been mined. Nearly year round water and dense forest canopy will make you feel like your prospecting in another state and offer the perfect escape from the brutal desert summers found at lower elevation. Coarse gold is easily found the entire length of Groom creek from the headwaters to its confluence with the Hassyampa River.
